During the Sunday & special worship services, the Acolytes assist the pastor and congregation by lighting the candles before the Sunday service. It is their responsibility to bring the offering plates to the ushers. They also assist the Pastor and lay assistant during communion, and several other small yet important tasks.

If you are scheduled to serve as an acolyte, you should arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the service. You are also asked not to wear sneakers or tennis shoes.
